What better way to celebrate than to celebrate with brunch?

If standing over a stove isn't your favorite spring thing, consider brunching for Easter at a fabulous LA restaurant.

The Institute of Culinary Education's campuses are located in New York City and Los Angeles, two culinary capitals of the world. In order to deepen our students' understanding, we create comprehensive guides surrounding the culinary industries in these cities. Though this guide was created with culinary students in mind, it's a resource for anyone seeking restaurants serving Easter brunch in LA. So enjoy — and tag us on Instagram if you dine at one of these recommendations. Happy Easter!

It may be hard to believe, but spring has sprung! With that comes Easter, which is, hands down, the best holiday for brunch. What I love so much about Easter brunch is that there are nearly no expectations and obligations. Better still, there’s a lot of creative freedom around what’s “acceptable” to eat at Easter.

As such, consider hanging up your apron and treating yourself to a holiday meal cooked by someone else — namely, a notable LA chef.

The city is home to countless brunch destinations (not to mention the ICE LA campus), many of which are doing something special for the holiday. Below is a list of personal favorites so you can one-stop-shop (or one-stop-reserve) for your Easter Sunday brunch plans!

EAST LA RESTAURANTS

Redbird
114 East Second Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012
Chef Neal Fraser of Downtown LA’s Redbird is serving a pre-fixe Easter menu for $65 per person. (Kiddos can dine at a discounted rate.) The full menu is here, but notable highlights include crab cakes with yuzu hollandaise, Basque baked eggs with short rib, chicken congee and a yogurt panna cotta with seasonal fruits. Also, a Redbird dining experience would not be complete without ordering one of their creative cocktails. Reserve your spot via OpenTable.

Girl & the Goat
555-3 Mateo St, Los Angeles, CA 90013
Chef Stephanie Izard of Girl & the Goat is best known for combining global flavors and Southern California produce. You will likely find something you’ve never tried before on the menu, guaranteeing a memorable experience. While the restaurant isn’t serving a dedicated Easter menu, their weekly brunch features bold flavors worth scouting, among them a goat curry omelette, coconut sticky rice yogurt, potato crepes, short rib chilaquiles and sourdough pancakes. Reserve your Easter brunch table on OpenTable.

WEST LA RESTAURANTS

Baltaire
11647 San Vicente Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90049
Over in Brentwood, Baltaire, a contemporary American steakhouse, is the perfect destination for a holiday celebration. Executive Chef Samuel Jung has packaged an Easter Sunday buffet brunch as an ode to American classics. Aside from a bloody mary cart and mimosas galore, expect filet mignon, honey baked ham, eggs Benedict, french toast and an assortment of raw-bar favorites. The cost is $150 per person and $50 for children 12 and under. Reserve your table here.

Terrazza
Hotel Casa del Mar 1910 Ocean Way, Santa Monica, CA 90405
Dinner — or in this case, brunch — with a view? I can’t think of a better way to elevate a holiday dining occasion. At Terrazza in Santa Monica, Chef Chad Huff offers modern Mediterranean-meets-California coastal cuisine. On Easter Sunday, guests can indulge in elevated dishes like Japanese tai snapper crudo, pea soup with Iberico ham, lobster benedict, and caviar frittata — and for something sweet, a surprise dessert table. Book your spot on their website.

Lumière
2025 Avenue Of The Stars, Los Angeles, CA 90067
This elegant French brasserie-style restaurant located within the Fairmont Century Plaza is led by Chef Ramon Bojorquez, and it offers a fun twist to traditional French classics. For Easter brunch, Lumière is serving a three-course tasting menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Expect elevated brunch favorites with fresh oysters and shrimp cocktail to kick off your meal. Book your reservation on OpenTable.

PASADENA RESTAURANTS

The Langham Hotel
1401 S Oak Knoll Ave, Pasadena, CA 91106
At The Langham Hotel — a Pasadena institution — you can enjoy a curated buffet in the beautiful Huntington Ballroom this Easter Sunday. The Langham is making the holiday extra-special by offering a complimentary admission to their annual Easter Egg Hunt on their Horseshoe Garden. For $190 ($80 for children between the ages of 3 and 12), you’ll find quintessential brunch fare: meat carvings, a pancake station, a raw seafood bar, and a chocolate fountain. Book here through OpenTable.
