Biography

Andrew Rigie is the Executive Director of the New York City Hospitality Alliance, a trade association formed in 2012 to bring together the hospitality and restaurant industry in New York. Rigie grew up working at his family's fourth generation bakery in Queens. After graduating from ICE in 2004, he joined the New York State Restaurant Association (NYSRA) in 2004. There, he worked to provide services to restaurant owners, operators, chef, and staff. In 2009 he became the Executive Vice President of New York City operations. Now he is working to help grow the New York City Hospitality Alliance into a broad association that includes restaurants, bars, lounges, hotels and major industry suppliers and aims to foster growth of the hospitality industry in New York.
