Biography

Scott Carney, MS is one of the country’s preeminent wine professionals. A longstanding adjudicator for the Court of Master Sommeliers examinations in the Advanced (level 3) and Diploma (level 4) tests, he is also a regular judge for Wine on Wings and the Copa Jerez wine and sherry pairing competition. 

In addition to his professional titles, Scott stokes his passion for wine and stays abreast of industry trends via frequent visits to growing regions around the world. Scott's wine-tasting travels have taken him to Germany, Greece, Spain, Austria, Uruguay, and Eastern European wine regions in Georgia and the Czech Republic.
